OUR FOOD PHILOSOPHY
We are unapologetic about serving made to order and made from scratch food. (Yes, that’s chef/owner Ryan back there roasting Roma tomatoes for our sauces, simmering house made stocks for soup and hand rolling burger patties). We change our menu to reflect what we can source locally and keep our pricing reasonable to reflect the quality we serve. We are a family here and believe in bringing everyone to the table. We opened our doors to feed people. And this is what we do.
Bringing people to the table means everyone is welcome. We have an inclusive menu with vegan options, gluten friendly foods and even small-portioned meals in our little foodies section. You’ll also find us pouring local craft beer and a selection of unlisted Ontario wines that pair perfectly with our casual fare.

We do casual fare well. We know what works for weddings, corporate events and cottage catering. Our team can assist you in planning small groups of up to 25 guests or large events of up to 100 guests for any occasion.

WE ARE LOCAL
Main St Local Kitchen is family owned & operated. Chef/Owner Ryan Clarke went to school here and even had his first kiss here. Like many, he left his hometown of Huntsville to live & learn in the industry across southern Ontario and the GTA.
In 2015, Ryan returned to Muskoka with his wife and business partner, Christina Clarke, to raise a family, and buy a restaurant. Together, and with an exceptional team, they’ve re-branded an iconic spot and built a business that is all about real food, real folks and bringing people to the table.
